Increased flexibility of alternative fuel payments, so more households will be supported with their energy bills
Great news for those who bought their winter fuel in advance last year! The government has announced a 3-month extension for providing evidence of fuel purchases to qualify for the £200 Alternative Fuel Payment (AFP). This payment is available to individuals who live off the gas grid and primarily use tank or bottled gas, LPG, oil, wood, or solid fuel for heating.
