Another dangerous install, a house fire waiting to happen.
This customer had recently moved into a cottage that already had a stove fitted. Unfortunately not only was it too big for the opening but it had been installed incorrectly, there was no access for sweeping the unlined chimney and the wooden lintel was too close to the stove pipe and had caught fire in the past.
This highlights the danger of not having your stove fitted by a HETAS registered installer.
